Well yesterday my sister Tiesha
& myself finally met Dr. Goodman. He was very nice like everyone
said he would be ( he looks nothing like his picture).Although he a
very busy person he took his time with all his patients. I
personally think I asked TOO MANY questions *lol* , but he answered
everyone of them. The staff is the best especially Rhonda the are
very accomodating. Upon your vistit you'll get an nutrionist
evauluation, but you'll have to make an appointment for the
psychological evaluation. He gave us the number to someone else he
knew so we wouldn't have to wait long and we have an appointment to
see them next week. Go see Dr. Goodman! You won't sorry and you'll
be happy you did.Dr. *****As of 1/2005 Stephen A. Michalski, is my
NEW surgeon now and I am very pleased with him.*****

I have chosen not to list my
original gastric bypass surgeon's name for legal reasons. But i am
more than willing to let the world know about my angel of a surgeon,
Dr. Elliot Goodman, who, by the grace of God saved my life through a
reversal of my gastric bypass when i was in absolute despair. What
can i say about Dr. Goodman? There is so much good to say that i
cannot possibly list it on this small page. He is a wonderful,
compassionate, caring, sensitive, good and gentle natured human
being. His humanity is evident long before his surgeon status
appears. He is extremely sensitive to your feelings, he comforts you
when you are sad, he has a wonderful bedside manner and is one of
the most gifted and skilled surgeons in the NJ area, if not thee
most skilled. I am so grateful to have found him because when my own
original gastric bypass surgeon sent me out his door and refused to
help me, Dr. Goodman welcomed me with arms wide open. I could not
have been more blessed to have the opportunity to know him and trust
him with my life so he could fix my body. All i can say is THANK YOU
DR. GOODMAN. To me, you are a saint who gave me my life back. Thank
you for allowing God to use you as a vessel to give me back my
health. You mean the world to me.

Surgeon Info: Surgeon: Elliot R.
Goodman, MD My first impression of Dr.Goodman was that he was very
nice and I felt very comfortable talking to him. My impresion of
Dr.Goodman has only gotten better with time.He is very caring.He
takes time to anwser all of your questions.No maatter how many they
are,which is very comforting.Dr. Goodman's staff is very
proffesional and are very caring as well his secretary Yessena is
very very nice. Ther is nothing I can say that I dont like abut
Dr.Goodman he's an A+.Future patients should know that when dealing
with Dr. Goodman and his staff they are dealing with in a caring and
deeply invovled staff.

Nice enough I guess, but Very
Rushed and little time for his patients. Lack of concern &
medical attention I got after surgery when i had complications. His
time is very limited and u will wait for hours upon end in the NJ
office and if u have any problems regarding your surgery
afterwards...u better find yourself a good Dr. who truly cares about
your situation to help troulbeshoot and try to correct and help you
with your your problems or u will suffer. I would rate him a 5

My first impression of Dr. Goodman
is wow he looks tired. The office staff seemed rushed b/c of the
temporary location that they used.I had my consult with Dr. Goodman
& his door was opened the entire time which I found weird?!? All
his explainations were short,sweet & to the point. It didn't
bother much though b/c he had come highly recommended. I believe
when the Doctor & his staff gets into there own space things
will run alot smoother. Until then we'll see.

I have an appointment to see Dr.
Goodman on 6/30/2004. The nurse told me to be prepared to spend
about 3-4 hrs in the office, she seemed very nice and helpful. He is
now affiliated with Beth Israel Medical Center; So I will be going
to 14th street in manhattan. I will update soon aftet the
conciltation.

I HONESTLY THINK THAT I MADE THE
BEST CHOICE WITH THIS DOCTOR. HE HAS A SMALL STAFF. BUT THEY KNOW
THEIR STUFF. RHONDA IS VERY INFORMATIVE AND YESENIA IS SO KIND AND
HELPFUL. BUT SINCE THEY ARE ONLY TWO PEOPLE, IT'S HARD TO GET THEM
ON THE PHONE. I DID MY RESEARCH TO FIND THIS DOCTOR AND I THINK HE'S
THE BEST. THE ONE THING I LOVE ABOUT HIM IS THAT HE IS VERY
ACCESSABLE. IF YOU EMAIL HIM, HE RESPONDS IN A DAY. THAT IS NOT
OFTEN SEEN IN DOCTORS. I'M CONFIDENT ABOUT THE CHOICE I MADE BECAUSE
OF HIM. I FEEL SAFE IN HIS HANDS AND THAT'S IMPORTANT.

my first impression was i waited
too long to see him. but i realized that he is very thorough and
explain everything in grat detail. he will answer all of your
questions. his office staff are very nice especially rhonda. new
patients should take the day off of work and ask any and all
questions. also be prepared to see the nutritionist. she does not
accept insurance. she will give you a bill to submit to your
insurance company. all patients have to take two support classes
before surgery. after surgery you have to see the nutrtionist. also
attend aftercare classes. he will tell you all the risks and/or
complications of the surgery. he will remove the gallbladder if it
has stones. i think he is a good doctor.
